This is the new highly recommended album from Shackleton on Perlon!
Since his move to Berlin, Shackleton's sound during Skull Disco which was mainly rooted in dubstep has since morphed and transformed. Combined with a mixture of his current surroundings and new influences reflecting the city's moods towards the underground house and techno scene, along with the added experimental rhythmic patterns, high suspense and creepy foreboding, clustered Darbuka drums and other percussion, deep droning bass tones, looped vocal snatches of rhetoric and distress that you may hear in the same themes as Moderat or Ricardo Villalobos, This debut long player by Shackleton is already doing something right!
This is invigorating and thrilling stuff which frankly would easily put it up there as one of the best records of the year!
VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STUFF!!!
