Chicago house custodian Boo Williams has landed on Rush Hour before and again saves some of his best work for the legendary Dutch label. 'The Recovery' has everything that defines his sound - tightly programmed low ends that land with force but never outshine the cosmic synth work and richly layered arrangements. 'All Bets Off' is even more charged up with twitch synth energy - like a static coating over his journeying grooves that makes them all the more tactile. 'All Over' is like a lost Omar-S cut - dusty machine drums and knackered synths all cooking up a low-key but soulful classic. 'The Hunt For House' closes with a reverie that has you gazing off into the middle distance.
