    Free Shipping

    Shipping is FREE if you live in the UK and spend over £100!

    Insurance

    To add insurance to your order, select Insured from the Delivery Method dropdown in your Bag.

    How is postage calculated?

    When you click the Add to Bag button your Bag automatically calculates the cost of your postage and the total, but you must select your Delivery Country.

    As you add products to your Bag, the postage and packing will automatically recalculate. Postage is calculated by the actual weight of the products in your shopping basket.

    Can I collect from your shop in Soho?

    Yes you can! Just select “Collect from store” in the Delivery Method. This means that you won’t be charged for any shipping.

    Large orders

    If you are making a large order we might be able to find a cheaper way to send it to you. Please call 020 7734 3430.

    Do you accept returns?

    Sorry, we don’t accept returns unless there is a fault with the item. Please return any faulty goods to Sounds of the Universe, 7 Broadwick Street, Soho, London, W1F 0DA

    BREXIT

    BREXIT Customers in the EU: we will pay all the duty, tax at our end, and you will receive your parcel free at point of delivery.

    Payment

    What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept all Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards as well as Paypal. If you select Paypal you will be redirected to the PayPal website. You don't need to have a PayPal account to make a payment.

    Why isn’t my credit card working?

    How do I use my Discount Code (Gift Voucher)?

    You can enter your Discount Code on the Checkout page.

    If your Discount Code exceeds the total order amount, the remaining balance will automatically be credited to your account. If your order exceeds the value of the Discount Code, and you have existing store credit on your account, this will automatically be redeemed to cover the remaining balance.

    If you wish to use more than one Discount Code in a single transaction, you need to contact us and we'll help you.

    How to use this website

    How to purchase an item.

    1 Once you have found an item you want to purchase click the Add to Bag button.
    2 Review the items in your bag by selecting the Bag link at the top of the page.
    3 If you have already registered please enter your email and password, otherwise fill in your details to create an account.
    4 Click Checkout then select an existing Delivery Address or add a new address and click Continue.
    5 For payment select an existing card or select the “Pay with a new card button". Click the agree to the Terms and Conditions checkbox and click Place Order. Alternatively you can checkout with Paypal.

    How do I use the Shortcuts? What are shortcuts?

    Do you have a favourite selection you always like to make? Are you always interested in Reggae CDs? Well why not add it as a shortcut?!

    Creating a Shortcut is quick and easy:
    1 Login or create an account
    2 Make your selection. For example Reggae + CDs.
    3 Click the star icon next to the Browsing title and your selection, then click the “Save to Shortcuts” button.
    4 The shortcut will now appear at the bottom of the Browse menu.

    How do Wishlists work?

    Wishlist are a great way of keeping track of items you like but aren’t quite ready to purchase.

    Once you are logged in click on the heart icon to add an item to your Wishlist. To view all of the items in your Wishlist click Your Account then Wishlist. From there you will be able to add items into your bag.

    Something not working as expected?

    Whats the difference between New Vinyl and Original Vinyl?

    New Vinyl are records that are brand new and Original Vinyl is effectively second hand.

    How do I create an account?

    To create an account hover over the Sign In/Register link in the header then click Create an Account. 

    How do I reset my password?

    Click the Forgot Password link on the Sign In form to reset your password. An email with instructions how to create a new password will be sent to the account email.

    Trouble signing in?

    Change your personal details?

    All personal information can be updated in the Your Account section of the website. This can be found by logging in and selecting Your Account link in the header. You will be able to edit your personal details, saved address and saved cards. 

    MP3’s

    Where can I view my downloads?

    You can view your downloads from the Your Account section.

    Territory restrictions

    Some releases and tracks are only available in certain territories. Choose your location from the menu in the footer in order to only see the MP3s that you can buy in your country. Note that the relevant factor that determines if you can buy an MP3 is not your physical location but the address of your credit card.

    File format

    All our digital downloads are LAME encoded MP3s with a bitrate of 320kbps.

    Release artwork

    Each MP3 release comes with a JPEG image of the artwork. The image sizes are 800 x 800 pixels at 72dpi.

    Downloading

    All purchased MP3s and artworks are available for download for 24 hours after purchase. You can download your tracks from any computer, simply log and select Your Account in the header to view your Order History. If for some reason you haven’t managed to download all your files during that period please get in touch with us.

    ZIP

    Instead of downloading all the mp3 files separately you have the option to download an archive file (zip) that contains all the files in your order including the artwork image files. If you choose to download the ZIP file be aware that the generating of the ZIP file may take a while, depending on the size of your order. The download will start automatically once the ZIP has been created.
