Italian DJ and curator Volcov has spent decades tracing the connective tissue between jazz, house and broken beat, and this latest collection feels like another deep excavation guided by instinct rather than era. Now based between Verona and a restless touring circuit, he pulls together a set that moves with the ease of someone who grasped early on how groove and melody can fold into one another. 'Sunrise (QB's Soweto Mix)' opens in warm, percussive bloom before Carlos NiNo & Friends carry 'Thankingtheearth' into devotional drift. Collettivo Immaginario tilt the frame again with the hazy swirl of 'La Macchina Dei Sogni', while Fred P's 'Watching The Sunrise' stretches into spacious, soft-lit house. Later, Kaidi Tatham and DJ Spinna inject sharp rhythmic snaps on 'Too Many Bags', and J2 Fusion's 'Cuba to Cali' leans into broken-beat flex. What emerges is a map of Volcov's long, borderless ear - a set shaped by curiosity and sheer musical affection.
