Analog Africa's forthcoming compilation ‘Congo Funk! - Sound Madness From The Shores Of The Mighty Congo River (Kinshasa/Brazzaville 1969-1982)’ is a journey to the musical heart of the African continent. Meticulously distilled from an initial selection of around 2,000 songs, this double LP compilation features fourteen funky and hypnotic tunes from (mainly) the 1970s.

'Congo Funk!' showcases the many facets of the two Congolese capitals, Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo) and Brazzaville (Congo Republic), uniting veterans and youth orchestras, famous and obscure, who pushed Rumba to new heights and electrified an entire continent with an indestructible groove.

Pressed on 140g 'Virgin Vinyl' and comes with a full colour 16-page booklet.
