Paris Blues (1961) Featuring Sidney Poitier and Paul Newman

    Optimum Home Entertainment

Paul Newman and Sidney Poitier star as two American ex-pat jazz muscians in Paris struggling for success. A wicked film with some serious jazz. The score is by Duke Ellington and the film also features Louis Armstrong who appears a number of times as well as exciting playing with his band. Sidelines include the gypsy guitarist in the band who has a serious drug habit, and Newman going to see a famous record producer about his music. E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T!
