This is the album that brought the Woodstock generation to jazz and forever changed the course the music would take - it features Miles putting his trumpet through a Wah-Wah and other effects pedals and jamming with an electric funk-influenced band (think Sly Stone's There's a Riot Goin' On!) featuring Joe Zawinul, John McLaughlin, Larry Young, Bennie Maupin, and others, to create heady, experimental, abstract, darkly enticing, long-form jams!

This deluxe reissue really shows off the classic Nobuyuki Nakanishi sleeve art and features a previously unreleased bonus track!
