    The Bitches Brew album is famous for being Miles Davis' radical departure from his 1960s style post-bop into the realms of jazz-funk-rock fusion, but its the On the Corner album that far better exemplifies the direction he was taking towards rhythmic, layered, funky longform improvisations! 

    This classic album features a host of young musicians including Carlos Garnett, Michael Henderson, Al Foster, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, John McLaughlin, Dave Liebman, and Jack De Johnette!
