Superb album of percussive deep jazz abandon with a mystical Middle Eastern flavour!

This is on the great Constellation post rock label and if you can imagine a cross between Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Sun Ra, and Alice Coltrane you'll have some idea of how this sounds!

Super-deep string orchestrations with Middle-Eastern percussion and melodies swirling and whirling like Sun Ra's Arkestra playing for a troupe of alien dervishes from planet Zog!

This is a really incredible album! Check out the sound clip of the track Icelandic Spar!

    Highly recommended!
