Re-issue of this 1999 classic collection of Detroit electro tracks produced by Drexciya's Gerald Donald (aka Heinrich Mueller, also of Der Zyklus) hiding behind his German pseudonym. A sort of 'best of' collection originally released on DJ Hell's International DJ Gigolos label, the tracks span the mid to late 90s, and include a lot of scientific and sexual fantasies, layers of irony, Wagner references, Kraftwerk pastiches... all over amazing, cold machine funk.
There's a story that Gerald Donald produced the album as payback for writing off DJ Hell's BMW at a party, and that the material is just taking the mick out of Hell's brand of electro. A bit like Marvin Gaye's 'Here My Dear'. However, this rumour is incorrect because the tracks were nearly all pre-released.
