The first of two free-spirited nocturnal compositions from American sound-maverick Tod Dockstader. Born in 1932, he studied painting and film at Minnesota University before moving to Hollywood in the mid fifties. He become an apprencite at Gotham Studios and soon after started to compose music. In 1969, first piece of music "Eight electronic Pieces" was used for the flim Satyricon. Dockstader went on to have long career and considered to be a innovative and visionary figure in electronic music.
