The Scientist - The People’s Choice that read like a master list of Jamaican musicians to include the virtuoso duo of Sly and Robbie, Jackie Mittoo, Tommy Mccook, ‘Flabba' Holt, Leroy Sibbles, Lloyd Parks, ‘Style' Scott, ‘Santa' Davis, ‘Gladdy' Anderson, Ansell Collins and Lloyd Chalmers just to name a few. The album was recorded at Channel One backed by the sought after studio band Roots Radics but mixed at King’s Tubby`s studio. Roy Cousins produced the album and published the original on the Kingdom Records Label in Britain in 1983. The selections on People’s Choice is designed to rock the dance with heavy baselines and allows the listener an uninterrupted observation of pure rhythm. It also features many dancehall anthems from the Studio stable.
