Fronted by Guinean vocalist Falle Nioke - favourite of the PRAH camp - the group come newly reinvigorated in West African rhythm, post-punk drive and motorik repetition, holding steady as textures shift and deform, 'Miami' and 'Black James Dean' nodding to 70s loft energy and krautrock patience, 'Mirror Test' and 'Future Country' contrasting on darker faultlines. Nioke's voice anchors the gestalt, moving from chant to melody, quilting a record knit between Margate and further afield.
