This is a superb reissue - is there any other kind when it comes to Dark Entries - of a stark club document from 1984 that still cuts deep. 'Our Darkness' is denied by tension and mechanical rhythm and spoken with steely poise by Anne Clark in a way that captures alienation, heartbreak and late-night city unease, while producer/collaborator David Harrow drives it forward with pounding drum machines and shadowy synth arpeggios. This edition gathers the original 12" remix, the Razormaid mix and a previously unheard dub unearthed by Harrow. Also included are 'Sleeper in Metropolis' and 'Poem for a Nuclear Romance' whose chilly moods nd icy metallic textures echoed through synth and waves scenes all over the world.
