Martin Rev's first solo record from 1980, recorded on the No Wave label Lust/Unlust. Unshackled from working with Suicide and Alan Vega, Rev explores with a more experimental record of pop, multi-synth layered tracks, dark beats harking to the lonesome alienation of New York during the time. Taking influences from the Silver Apples and Kraftwerk you can see where many of todays electronic pioneers like Aphex Twin or LFO may be inspired with Martin Rev's amazing debut!
