A strong contender favourite album of the year so far! LA-based experimentalist Fly Lo returns with his fourth album on Warp with guest appearances from Erykah Badu, Thom Yorke, Niki Randa, Laura Darlington and Thundercat. 

A beautifully woven, free-flowing patchwork of deamy soul, jazz, hip-hop, dubstep and electronica. Too much to love here, take "See Thru to U"  an emotional explosion of hypnotic, clattering, jazzy percussion and tribal drums with an almost ethereal vocal from Ms Badu. Some of the tracks work as short sketches, giving you just enough, like the fluttering electronic ambience of "Until the Colours Come" and the more straight ahead LA beats of "Getting There" smoothed with Niki Randa vocal. Wicked!
