Way back in the early 1990s, Masters at Work man Louie Vega made a handful of singles and EPs for Strictly Rhythm as Hardrive. By far the most successful and celebrated of these was 1993 five-tracker 'Deep Inside', which here is given the reissue treatment. The killer, of course, is the familiar title track, a skipping, analogue bass-propelled chunk of big room garage-house featuring cut-up vocal snippets of the kind that Todd Edwards would later become the master of. As it was back then, it's backed by Vega's own 'The Dub' rework and a trio of bonus cuts: the organ-crazy madness of 'The Cure', a notably tough workout; the rolling, breakbeat sporting deep house jazziness of 'Just Believe' and the deeper, more sensual 'Maurice's Vibe'.
