Too $hort dropped Cocktails in January of 1995. By February of that year - the release had moved over 100,000 copies hitting the number six slot on the Billboard Top 200. The record went on to platinum status by the end of the year.

Guests include MC Breed, The Dangerous Crew, and the album’s producer Ant Banks as well as Tupac Shakur. Amazingly Cocktails has never seen a commercial vinyl issue.
