A-side 'Baby' is blue-eyed soul of the Mayer Hawthorne variety, with Bright's own falsetto vocals joined by Meana's soulful backing vox and vocalisations atop a warming, synth-splattered backing track inspired by the more loose and lo-fi end of the 80s soul spectrum. 'Take It Slow', meanwhile, is a delicious slow-jam duet that once again manages to sound both lo-fi, groovy and synth-heavy. Impeccable stuff all told.
