The second EP taken from Terror Danjah’s Hyperdub debut CD 'Undeniable' features three different styled cuts landing for the vinyl lovers. 'Minimal Dub' starts proceedings, switching between half-time and full pelt with stop-start drums and a catchy rubber band-like melody played out in the bass. But it's the unexpected tech breakdown in the middle, and the synth-line that appears on the drop that makes this the dancefloor slayer that it's rapidly become. It's growing momentum has already been infecting ears across genres on 1xtra and Radio 1.
‘This Year’ is actually the ‘Pro Plus’ instrumental that came out earlier this year, but with vocals by rising stars of Grime Ms Bratt and Griminal, whose aspirational rhymes here work in an energetic combination that compliments the lurching melody of the instrumental perfectly. ‘I’m Feelin U’ is completely different to anything Terror’s done before, working off a soulful vocoder, Rhodes keys and G-funk melodies that play hide and seek with the constantly building and breaking down drums and bass.
Number Two in a series of four limited-edition EPs bringing ‘Undeniable’ to life on vinyl. Limited pressing on phat wax.
