You may not know this album but it is one of DEEPEST of all Black Jazz releases - hard to describe but SPIRITUALLY and SONICALLY up there with John Coltrane's 1960s IMPULSE releases, certainly anything on BLUE NOTE. Like Horace Tapscott this music just flows - the cover gives an indication of its power!
Saxophonist Rudolph Johnson is practically unknown but this is some serious shit! One of the rarest and best-kept secrets of all the Black Jazz releases. Original copies are hundreds of pounds!
100% essential!!
