Neu! (pronounced NOY) was a German band formed by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother after their split from Kraftwerk in the early 1970s!

This is their 1971 debut album and arguably their strongest one! Stunning stripped down rock music, with a sparse palate of rhythmic drums and bass and echiog guitar twangs.  This album set the ground work from Techno and the post-rock movement influencing everyone from PiL to David Bowie!

Considered the founding fathers of Krautrock!
