Skewed r'n'b/twisted funk experimentalist Morgan Zarate produces the first 12" from Hyperdub of 2011! 'Hookid' is a hazy psychedelic collison between grime and dubstep; swirling synth melodies, hard hand claps and tuff bass. Half-time 'Buy Bye' oozes emotion with crying synthwork, intricate layered electronics and half-heard vocal snippets. 'SP' rounds up the 12" with a motorik soundtrack like feel, hasty drums, off-kilter clicks and spacey synths. ACE!
