*CLASSIC Arthur Russell album - issued for the first time on Vinyl*

Arthur Russell was a performer/composer from the downtown NY scene of the late seventies and early eighties whose music was all but ignored during his lifetime but who has been posthumously lauded in the most glowing of terms and has consequently become a key influence on many of today's most interesting producers and musicians such as DFA, Hot Chip and Polmo Polpo.

This is a reissue of a 1992 album that features the folkier (and very beautiful) side of his diverse output alongside some excellent leftfield electro style tracks. It includes the original, unremixed version of his stunning collaboration with Elodie Lauten, "In The Light Of The Miracle", "My Tiger My Timing" and the awesome "This Is How We Walk On The Moon"!
