    • Ziad Rahbani – Prelude (Theme From Mais El Rim)
    • 1. Abu Ali
    • 2. Prelude (Theme From Mais El Rim)

Reissue of this extremely hard-to-find 12" single from Lebanese composer, pianist, playwright and political commentator Ziad Rahbani. 'Abu Ali' is musician's foray into American disco, soul and funk, with a 10-minute epic that fuses Arabic orchestration around an atmospheric disco groove and cosmic synthesizer lines. Includes 'Prelude (Theme from Mais El Rim)', an epic example of Rahbani's 1970s soundtrack work.
