    Soul Jazz's 'Microsolutions To Megaproblems' series continues with a new single from San Francisco's electronic pioneer, Sutekh. Manipulating and abusing computers, samplers, synthesizers, various acoustic instruments, and found sounds, he has created everything from deep, minimal house and techno to dense, dissonant noise collage. Sutekh?s single Two Vireos is his latest double-sider. ?Red Eye? is a sophisticated broken beat track with a vicid acid-bassline. An epic arrangement with a nod to the old Detroit masters. 'Black Capped', in contrast to the a-side ? returns back to the sounds of classic minimal techno, a la Underground Resistance. San Francisco-based Sutekh has released consistently inconsistent electronic music on labels such as Soul Jazz (where he features on the recent Microsolutions album)(UK), Leaf (UK), Force Inc./Mille Plateaux (Germany), Orthlorng Musork (USA), and his own Context.
