    Recorded in 1959 at El Saturn Studio, Chicago, 'Jazz In Silhouette' is one of three records that the Arkestra released in the 1950s.  The album is considered to be one of Ra's best from his Chicago period before veering off into 'their full-fledged explorations into the avant-garde'.
