Those of you who brought SOTU bestsellers Soundway's Nigeria Special Series, Afro Baby and Ghana Soundz will love this ace compilation collecting together super rare and obscure 70's Nigerian Afrobeat!   In 1970 Fela Ransome Kuti and his newly assembled Africa 70 band toreup the Nigerian music scene with their new Afrobeat sound.  Mixing Highlife, Funk and Nigerian rhythms they stole the show in 1970's NNigeria and things were never to the same again!

Non of the tracks on this wicked compilation have been reissued outside of Nigeria! Jam packed with raw organic horn stabs, amazing super tight african percussion, sweet sax, guitar twangs, funky organ and an infectious energy!

    Highly Recommended!
