‘Martyr Shrapnel’ was issued posthumously in 2012 and now as part of a fundraising campaign for Ukrainian resistance to invading forces. It appears on the label alongside multiple previous Muslimgauze numbers, as well as releases by Ilpo Väisänen, Merzbow and more, with a concentration of the late Manchester legend’s prickly energies over an hour of astringently noisy and heads-down grooves.
