Gilles Peterson focuses his attention in on highly revered German jazz label, MPS. Established in the late 60s, MPS encompassed a large, totally distinct repertoire that had never been released anywhere else; having the likes of such giants in the US / Canadian jazz sphere - George Duke, Oscar Peterson, Kenny Clarke - on the label alongside some of the revered figures of the European scene. 'Magic Peterson Sunshine' look at some of the more obscure releases on the label, with music from the likes of Don Ellis, Mary Lou Williams, Gunter Hampel Quintet, John Taylor Trio, Das Wolfgang Dauner Trio and more.
