    A tidy technoid kwaito house, dark funky and boogie-jit debut from Still Cold Records!

    The eponymous ‘Lesotho Protokol' uses shades of niche bassline, kwaito, electro and techno to hang colour on an obesely fat bass and skipping snare / hi-hat syncopation. ‘You’re Mine’ rolls out triple-dipped subs and chopped vocals with a funky-tech accent, seemingly custom-built for a Pearson Sound or XXXY set. The final flourish of '2 Fly' is a bright acidic roller exploiting the cracks between footwork, jit and future boogie.
