Quickly establilshing themselves as a top platform for UK talent, Laid_Back drop their second release, a split 12" from Standard Place/Boiler Room regular Visionist, and Brighton-based DJ Lorca.

Lorca's effort 'Hold Back' kind of does what it says on the tin, a sophisticated, restrained take on the UK percussive workout template, building towards a release that holds off endlessly. After his 'Mr. 67' 10", Visionist drops some shape-shifting fire for the DJs, punching metallic drums though echoing rimshots etc. Proper nice.
