Watanabe's soundtracks have always drawn from the cream of the crop, betraying the visionary's immersion in hip-hop and jazz, Bebop having been through-composed of free jazz urgents from pilot to finale. Now the iron is hot for a new, quasi-electronic OST: among Bonobo's soundtrack contributions is the standout 'Dark Will Fall', bringing slinting guitar, deeply textured ambiences and a Delta bluesy vocal line from featured singer Jacob Lusk.
