Two rare jazz-funk floor-fillers on 45 for the first time. KON’s 7” edit of Ja’Net Dubois’s break-beat fuelled jazz funk theme ‘Queen Of The Highway’ recorded in 1979 at Ralph Macdonald’s Rose Bud studio in New York. On the flip-side is Jady Kurrent Band, Cleveland’s funk outfit that won the state Budweiser Band Showcase contest in 1982 winning them studio time to record this sought-after funk gem available on Backatcha Records.
