Excellent new album from supreme new jazz vocalist Gregory Porter. Coinciding with his sold out shows in London and following his standout performance on Later with Jools Holland, this new release combines mostly original compositions with classics such as"God Bless The Child" and Nat Adderley's "Work Song". Performed in Porter's unique style and with a nod to legends such as Donny Hathaway and Nat King Cole, Porter is receiving much props from the likes of Gilles Peterson etc .
