Essential compilation of Smith & Mighty material released on their own Three Stripe label in the late 80s.

Rob Smith (also known as RSD for his releases on Punch Drunk) and Ray Mighty were the architects of the "Bristol Sound", taking in influences of jungle, funk, lovers rock, acid house & early hip hop to provide a bass-heavy framework that would go on to be popularised by acts like Portishead & Tricky.

Selected by Rob Smith, sleeve notes from Martin Langford
