Samjazz / Abilio Mandel Nega, Neguinha / Luiza Manequin

    Mr Bongo
    • Samjazz – Nega Neguinha
    • Abilio Mandel – Luiza Manequim
    • 1. Samjazz – Nega Neguinha
    • 2. Abilio Mandel – Luiza Manequim

This is the second release on Mr Bongo's Brazil 45's imprint. Limited to 1000 copies.

'Nega, Neguinha' was released by a Brazilian plastics manufacturer, SIR, whose owner started a labour-of-love record label. The track became an underground hit on the Samba Rock scene in Sao Paulo when local DJs picked up on it.

'Luiza Manequim' was originally released on 7" by Odeon in 1972.

Both are lovingly reissued here and are essential for any Brazilian enthusiasts.
