'Three Wicked Men' sung by Reggae George (real name George Davey). Originally released in 1981 and issued on Tuff Gong's imprint, it has been re-released a handful of times over the decades (sadly many illegitimately with atrocious quality). So TRS are very proud to announce the cleanest and sonically best sounding reissue to date directly lifted from the source. What is more special is they have included a never before heard mix to the menu. Long story short, in 1981 French Canadian Disco Pop legend Boule Noire (real name Georges Thurston) was in Jamaica and linked up with producer Michael Gardine (aka King Kush / Kush Dan I) who supplied Boule Noire with bags full of instrumentals, including the 'Three Wicked Men' riddim. Later many of these recordings surfaced as singles in Canada on the Zion Yant imprint and also on Boule Noire's LP titled "Reggae" which was a fully French sung album over Jamaican riddims but with a different commercial twist. Working alongside Kush Dan I it was infact his vision for nearly 40 years to stitch together the 'Three Wicked Men' instrumental with Boule Noire's album version. So here it is, presented on a gorgeous 10".
