Inspired more by "Russian avant-garde and Moscow's Conceptualist movement" than dance music proper, 'Silver Album' is a collection of nine songs recorded live, each telling a "fable" using Russian lyrics. The record features collaborations with Battles drummer John Stanier, Butthole Surfer Paul Leary, Daniel Maloso and Tobias Freund, as well as general co-production and guidance from Aguayo himself.
