Early contender for Album Of The Year....V. Limited pressing! For fans of Don Cherry, Maximum Joy etc..

Claude Cooper emerged in the depths of last winter with the saxophone-led whirlpool of cymbal crashes and snaking bass on debut single 'Tangerine Dreams'. With strong support from tastemaker radio and DJs, it sensationally sold out a staggering 800 copies on its 7” vinyl release. With Claude disappearing back into the shadows, it was thought it might be a one off... until they resurfaced with a full album, recorded during 2021. Joining Claude Cooper on ‘Myriad Sounds’ is an assembled in-the-know cast of Bristol’s best musicians; including Reprazent’s Si John (Brown Paper Bag!) and Beak’s four string wonder Billy Fuller sharing bass duties, Pete Judge (of BBC Jazz Award winners Get The Blessing amongst his many credits) on trumpet, Anthony (Errol) Flynn on drums, noted producer Tom Wilding on keys and synths, guitarist Sean Snook who has collaborated with Beth Gibbons, Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury, pioneering flautist Nathan Flutebox Lee, and cellist Nick Pascalides. Also appearing is famed American saxophonist Jeff Hollie, who’s notably recorded with Frank Zappa.
