Recorded at the original Van Gelder Studio, Hackensack, New Jersey, on 16th March 1958. Recorded in 1958 but not originally released until 1980. Brooks’ first Blue Note album as leader. Featuring Lee Morgan (trumpet), Sonny Clark (piano), Doug Watkins (bass) and Art Blakey (drums). Showcases two classic Brooks originals (the title track and ‘Nutville’), plus superb takes on the standards ‘Star Eyes’, ‘The Way You Look Tonight’ and ‘Everything Happens To Me’.
