New album from Machinedrum capturing all the current mutant bass strains of today. On 'Room(s)' Machinedrum experiments with faster tempos inspired by the post-rave sounds of jungle, dubstep, detroit house and juke. He adds a psychedelic, sun kissed quality to the footwork-inspired tracks that conventionally would be more brash and fierce whilst still keeping their dancefloor appeal. Highlights include the amazingly propulsive 'GBYE' with r'n'b vocal cuts over sharp footwork-esque chord stabs and the slightly romantic half-step garage on 'Sacred Frequency'.
