Hyperdub's LV team up with vocalist Joshua Idehen on their heavyweight debut album on Keysound Recordings.  'Routes' as the name suggests has many twists and turns; exploring different moods and tempos showing a direct reflection of London life.  Joshua has a very playful cheeky style on the album, switching between soulful half-sung chat and spoken-word. Album opener 'I Know' has instant danceflor appeal with crisp skippy garage beats, fidgety bass, tingling percussion and joshua's rave style chat. 'Tough' is a more deep spacious boogie-tinged bass number, 'Nothern Line' is pure jokes, paying tribute to London's best line (Stockwell let me hear ya!), whilst 'Lean Back' is a darker more pensive number. Too many highlights on this album - very highly recommended!
