Reissued for the first me together are both versions (French and US) of Francophone zouk band Kassav’s 1979 debut album, which has been unavailable since the mid-80s. Includes the killer disco of the title track Love and Ka Dance! An essential LP for DJs and vinyl diggers the world over! This historic album helped mark the beginning of one of the greatest adventures of French Antillean music, which became a worldwide success. Zouk is a musical style originating from the Caribbean islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique and popularised by Kassav’, who were formed in Paris, decided to make Guadeloupean carnival music recording it in a more fully orchestrated yet modern and polished style.
