Cape Town's John Wizards, based around the core duo of John Withers and Emmanuel Nzaramba, release their self-titled debut album through UK electronic music institution, Planet Mu. The album is an infectious, spacious hybrid pop record, feeling centred around African music but untethered to any one particular style; drawing upon elements of African music and R&B via the sound of Kwaito, Shangaan electro and dub.
