In four relentless bouts of inspired improvised jazz, Irreversible Entanglements explore compositional ideas drawn from each of the band members' deep, individual studies of free jazz and improvisation. However, the tone of each piece is driven decisively by the poetic narrations of Camae Ayewa, touching on themes of Black trauma, survival and power.

Another essential release via the crucial, Chicago-born independent, International Anthem Recording Company!
