The second release on Brixton Heights Records is a Roots Jazz Dub Instrumental. An original riddim produced by the Brixton Heights Crew in collaboration with Italian composer Stefano “Kieko” Destefanis and Darren Jamtone. Ripe Horns (side A), benefits from the trombone, trumpet and saxaphone skills of Ital Horns, gifting this version with their enchanting and hypnotic melodies. On the B side, Hard Bud, the track becomes dry and tough, a modern dub that evokes the sound of 80’s and 90’s UK dub.
Pressed in a 500 limited edition, on a heavy weight 7” vinyl, the tracks are mixed by Darren Jamtone at his London studio. The final mixes were sent to Jamaica, where they were mastered at Anchor Studios by the one and only Gussie Clarke for that final maestro touch.
