Enhed (Danish for Unit) was Bremer/McCoy’s debut as a duo. Their shared love of reggae and jazz merged, while drawing on Scandinavian vise (ballad) traditions and the melancholic Nordic jazz sound. Jonathan Bremer (double bass) and Morten McCoy (piano, keyboards and effects) share a common vision to get back to their roots and create an honest and intimate vibe. Already given airplay by Gilles Peterson, the music is simple and yet magnificent!
