New from the brilliant experimental New York based imprint Tri Angle!

Born in Senegal, raised in Kuwait, and now living in New York City, Ayshay aka Fatima Al Qadiri has entirely sung and produced her debut 'Warn U'. Ayshay is a flippant term for 'whatever' in Arabic, on  'Warn U' she uses a bewitching, dizzying array of wierd sounds and layered treated vocals in an attempt to reinterpret Arabic worship music to evoke feelings of both fear and comfort. Nguzunguzu (formed of 2 producers and MIA's tour DJ) create a megamix adding a junglist underbelly to the tracks.
