    This is one of Arthur Russell's most well known albums, and exemplifies the folky, idiosyncratic, singer-songwriter side of his diverse musical practice (he was also a composer of orchestral music and made disco and leftfield electro tracks!). It was originally released in the mid eighties while he was still alive and has since become quite a sought-after piece amoungst collectors!

    World of Echo features sparsely arranged songs for 'cello and voice with electronic echo and delay treatments and it truly sounds incomparible. This is haunting music of rare beauty and power which you will enjoy time and time again.
